Public Link Sharing

TLDR: Public link sharing is a way of sharing your presentation while maintaining one-way control.

Overview

Speakflow's public sharing feature lets you easily share your presentation with others. You can get a public link from your script's edit or presentation screen. Anyone with this link can view your presentation without signing in, but they can't control it. To run the presentation, you need to open it on a device logged into your account. From there, you can control what all viewers see. This feature is great for presenting to groups or remote audiences, giving you full control while allowing others to follow along seamlessly.

Accessing the Link

You can access the public sharing link from the script edit screen. You’ll find this in the upper right hand corner of the presentation screen, or on your scripts page in the dropdown menu for the script you’d like to share.

Controlling Your Presentation

This link will lead to a presentation screen without any controls. Anyone can access this presentation view without having to sign in. You'll get a public link notification when you open the link, reminding you that the presentation must be controlled from another device. Click "Continue" to view the presentation.

In order to control the presentation you have to open it in the presentation view from an account with access to the script. You’ll get a notification each time a device connects to the open presentation.

Once another device has been connected, you can control all the devices at the same time from the signed in account.
