Free Online Voice Recorder
Record audio with your microphone right in your browser, then download the file. Nothing gets uploaded, and there's no account to create.
With Speakflow you can
- Record & share in your web browser
- Write your script, then read it from the teleprompter while you record
- Voice-activated scrolling follows your voice as you read, and stops when you stop
- Overlay keeps your script on screen while you present in Zoom or Webex
- Invite your team to edit and share scripts with you
Recording audio online
Sometimes you just need the audio: a voice note for a colleague, a voiceover for a video, a podcast segment, or a first read of a script. This recorder runs in your web browser, so there's nothing to install. You can pause mid-take if the doorbell rings and pick up where you left off.
Recording tips:
- Record in a quiet room. Carpet and curtains cut echo more than you'd expect.
- Keep the microphone 6–12 inches from your mouth.
- Do a short test recording first and listen back to check your levels.
If you're reading from a script, grade it with the Script Checker first
